Natasha B. of Pooler, GA became concerned about her home's foundation when she noticed a crack running down the middle of her home. The crack was unsightly and was ripping up her bathroom tile. She also noticed that her home seemed very un-level, and was sinking towards the back end of the home. Lowcountry Basement Systems sent Dan Friesen to Pooler to inspect the foundation. He noticed the common signs of foundation settlement, cracks in the foundation, sticking doors and windows, and unlevel floors. He suggested that Push Piers be installed to level and support the home. Push Piers stabilize your home’s foundation and in many cases can lift your home back to level. Steel pier sections are hydraulically driven through the bracket to bedrock or a stable soil level. Then, the weight of your home is transferred through the piers to the competent soil below, and a lift can be attempted to bring the home back to its original position.
After three days of installation, Natasha noticed the symptoms of settlement were gone. She was very thankful that Lowcountry Basement Systems was able to return her home to the way it was supposed to be.
