Tree Root Growing in Crawl Space

We've come up against all sorts of obstacles when helping customers solve their crawl space and foundation issues, but this customer in Clyo, GA truly had a growing problem in their crawl space!  A massive root system from a nearby tree in their yard was taking over their crawl space.

These roots, which spread throughout the crawl space of their home, were causing damage to the piers that were supporting their home.

The Lowcountry Basement Foundation Repair Team labored for five hours to remove the massive roots. They then installed 7 SmartJacks to support and stabilize the structure. Four of the SmartJacks were adjusted to lift the structure, and three SmartJacks were adjusted to lower the structure back to level.
